Chapter 4: Permissiveness, the Family, and the Cult of the Forever Child
The Liberation of Selfishness
Permissiveness is the CULT OF PERSONAL IRRESPONSIBILITY. The Permissive Revolution is the revolution that liberates the ego from all the chains of the past. Permissiveness teaches the Revolutionary Truth that self-repression is sickness and self-expression is health. There is no morality except the stirrings of your loins. The World, indeed the Universe, is to be re-arranged around the stirrings of your loins. There is no other point of view than yours: self-awareness or conscience is dumped along with all your other chains. Nothing exists objectively, independent of your attitude, only as you like it or fear it. But this revolution is not a regression; it is a self-debasement, a gesture of rage, a child’s sulk done up as an ideology. In the Liberalist topsy-turvy Revolution, parents seek the approval of their children, children patronise their parents; children are as rude and morose as embittered old men; and no one believes in the future.
Permissiveness Opened Pandora’s Box
The Permissive Revolution is the dumping of millennia of the evolution of a survivable personality for Humans so prone to self-destruction. The old personal morality of Mankind was deemed necessary for personal well-being. But of course in a social species it was also deemed essential for the well-being of the biological collective. The effect on the biological collective of the permissive inversion of a personal self-denying morality (Daddy’s ‘no’ replaced by Mummy’s ‘yes’) has been like a ship on the rocks, wave after wave has broken it to pieces. Since the biological collectives are the consolation and sanity of individuals, their weakening by the hugely popular cult of Permissiveness has released an endemicity of addictions and breakdowns and psychoses, especially among children, who wander among the wreckage of family, society and nation, crying for the safety of a seaworthy ship.
Permissiveness is EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF. Oh, make no mistake, ‘caring for others’ simply means patronising others. We know this because we care for others only so long as it makes us feel superior. Permissiveness is productive of misery and loneliness, the most this England has ever suffered, so off we go to the women-markets of Asia to purchase our family, society and nation. Permissiveness is productive of sexual disease, the most this England has ever suffered. Permissiveness is productive of a desperation of greed; greed is productive of crime, the most criminality this England has ever suffered. Permissiveness is productive of pimp, punter and whore, the only relationship that flourishes under Permissiveness, and productive of the most debasement and perversion of taste this England has ever suffered. Permissiveness is productive of lost souls who enter false therapies which entice them deeper into their egotism instead of booting them out to weed the cabbages.
Supermarket Smugness
The Liberalist Revolution flourishes only among the biologically alienated. The biologically alienated are those who have lost the SENSE OF DANGER. THE SHOPPER SYNDROME causes this psychosis. The Shopper Syndrome is the belief that food comes from shops. Another name for this psychosis is Economism. Upon this psychosis whole states plan their futures. Children are not born with a sense of danger. They invest it in their adults, who exercise on their behalf the survival virtue of caution. The temporary success of scientific technology has degenerated the survival virtue of caution, replacing it with triumphalism, smugness and complacency. Along comes Liberalism and makes an ideology out of these psychoses. Adulthood is no longer necessary: Liberalism is the Abolition of Adulthood. Adulthood is replaced by the Forever Child and a coven-cult of she-priests, themselves incapable of motherhood, whose love is the deadliest hatred: you are allowed to do everything you like except live.
The Cult of the Forever Child
The Cult of the Forever Child is not just permission, it is THE COMMANDMENT TO REFUSE ADULTHOOD.
The Cult of the Forever Child is hugely popular. THE HATRED AND REFUSAL OF ADULTHOOD is hugely popular. Believing that you are someone else’s responsibility is hugely popular. Believing that the planet is a playroom is hugely popular. Believing that the purpose of life is to play with your toys is hugely popular. The Liberalist Law that maximum maturity and fulfilment is reached when you have found your partner for mutual masturbation is hugely popular.
Psychotic childishness is the result. England now is the slum that spoilt children make of their playroom.
The Hatred of Children
The Cult of the Forever Child is the hatred of children. The child is adult-in-the-making. The recognition of this is biological truth: the recognition of this is love of the child. Liberalism is the refusal of this: Liberalism is the hatred of the child.
The Hatred and Refusal of Life
The Cult of the Forever Child is not just the hatred of the past that used to be revered as the giver of life, the Cult of the Forever Child is the hatred of the whole Human past, is the hatred of the whole biological past, is the hatred of life itself. Liberalism is not a death-wish. If you can’t live by love, you must live by hatred. When the Perfect Way turns out to be imperfect, you do not simply let it go, you cling to it by hatred. Hatred is the last clinging to the failed Way. In fear of the future you cling to the past even when it is time to let it go. You cling to it by hatred; you cling to it by punishment; by a rage of rejection. What else is the Cult of the Forever Child?
Biological Duty
You are not a signed-up Liberalist if the word duty does not make you snigger. You are not a signed-up Liberalist if the word responsibility does not make you sneer. You are not a signed-up Liberalist if the phrase respect for the past does not make you look around for a Racist. You are not a signed-up Liberalist if the phrase leave something for the future does not put you in a towering rage.
Life will not be played with: LIFE IS DANGEROUS.
LIFE IS BIOLOGICAL DUTY. You received it: you pass it on. That is adulthood. This is not compulsion; this is not choice. This is before compulsion/choice. This is the way of nature. The way of nature is the Rightness of Being, is the way of happiness. Happiness is being true to life, dutiful, faithful, as the sparrow is.
The Restoration of the Family
The Return of Responsibility continues in the Restoration of the Family by the removal of state interference.
Families are for Better or Worse
Families will be expected to care for their members. Families will be held responsible for the good behaviour of their members. Children will be raised in the safety of Adulthood Returned where pleasure is not personal but is the well-being of the children in their serene glide to adulthood. Not the state, the protection of the teenager is the responsibility of the family. To protect, you must control. Families will regain control over their children. Coming of age is 21. THE HEALTH OF THE BIOLOGICAL FAMILY IS THE HEALTH OF HUMANITY. Your right is your responsibility.
‘Romantic Love’
Marriage vows will be honoured. Anglecynne warns that it will no longer allow ‘romantic love’ to explode family like a bomb. ‘Romantic love’ has hi-jacked marriage. It is no way to choose the other parent of your future children. If there is a single cause for the epidemic of childhood psychoses, it is ‘romantic love’ in which the children are merely incidental.
The Correct Way with the Teenage Young
Keep them busy.
Keep them poor.
Keep them in family.
Keep off their backs.
The Happy Family is the Prevention of History
Since the behaviour, and history and politics, of Man spring out of his personality, and his personality springs out of his nurturing, be careful of his nurturing. The happy family is the careful nurturing. The happy family is the biological family. Anglecynne views the decades of Liberalism as a negative experiment, proving by the Wrong Way what is the Right Way. The right way is the child growing up at Home.
Individual Responsibility
The restoration can only start with the return of Individual Responsibility. Of course the restoration starts with the individual: ‘when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things’. Adulthood has but one definition: A SURVIVABLE PERSONALITY. And education has but one definition: the raising of a survivable personality — in a World that is no playroom. So it is achieved: where does it go when it is achieved? Does it shoot off like a rocket on Guy Fawkes Night? No, it takes up the burden of the family. Your right is your responsibility.
Individual Responsibility is the inheritance by Everyman of the Alpha-Maleship. (Let us note here that Anglecynne’s language is masculine and not feminine. Why? Firstly English is missing the inclusive pronoun. Secondly because the act of Natural Selection that created the Human Primate occurred in the male not in the female. Thirdly Anglecynne’s language is the Language of Liberation: letting the male prisoner out of the Feminist prison. Fourthly because Feminism is Feminist-Nazism. Fifthly because of fidelity to Natural Selection: Alpha Male not Alpha Female. Sixthly, coincidentally, because the years of female emancipation are the worst years of Human History. Seventhly because emancipation of woman has brought to the Woman, not exploration, not pioneership, not innovation, not leadership, not authority, not continence, not intelligence, not wisdom, not a passion for the well-being of Humanity, not Transcendence, not Faith-in-Life; instead it has brought Nazi-hatred of men, hatred of her womanhood, murder of her unborn children, and an epidemic of the nuisance little sister who demands that Daddy force her big brother to let her join his games. The Return to Patriotism
Anglecynne intends the Return to Patriotism. A PATRIOT LOVES HIS NATION: A NATIONALIST IS THE SLAVE OF HIS NATION.
PATRIOTISM IS NATURALLY SELECTED. PATRIOTISM IS HOME-LOVE.
The Return of Re-Integration
Anglecynne intends the above to be the re-integration of the nation. Liberalism has been an acid that dissolves the body into blobs. Liberalism has been the saltwater that corrodes the ship until it sinks. Anglecynne remembers the coronation of 1953. For months the whole nation was caught up in the excitement and busy preparing. Every village and every street held feasts on Coronation Day. Anglecynne remembers the recent coronation, a few bits of bunting hanging limp and damp in the drizzle.
The Return to Ordinariness
Wise men used to notice the difference between the African child and the English child. The bright-eyed calmness of the African child and the dull-eyed restlessness of the English child. Because the African child is loved and not spoilt, he sleeps in the sufficiency of his belonging, so he doesn’t need to be a Chosen One.
The English child is Homeless, has spoilt parents, is spoilt by his spoilt parents, is the spoilt-rotten victim of Liberalist Anti-Education. As a consequence the English Spoilt Child has a sense of his specialness no smaller than the Cosmos. The World must acknowledge that a godling has arrived. And doesn’t. So off rushes the spoilt godling child to prove he exists. The only place he doesn’t rush to is Home, where his ordinariness awaits him with its sanity and sleep.
The prime characteristic of the spoilt godling child is ZERO TOLERANCE. He cannot take no for an answer. On the street he is ready with his knife. On the wall of the doctor’s waiting room there is a chart to warn parents against anger at their children’s bad behaviour. Next to it is the doctor’s Zero Tolerance notice.
